Having neither heard of, nor imagined they even existed, a puck screen, this was a complete stab in the dark experience. But now I have one, I’ve discovered the best little coffee improver ever. I’ve brewed coffee for over thirty years using expresso machines and this is the one sensible gadget that I will use every time now.
It is quite thick, even with 18g weighed in grind I could not fix the portafilter in the group head
Hi there, thank you for your feedback. Do you have a custom diffuser installed by any chance?
It was great to get the support for my coffee machine. Last time I had a problem the service fee from a service centre cost over 4 hundred dollars. No complaint as the reapir was carried out to our satisfaction.
However being able to install the service kit, still have to get round to it was a much better option, partly due to timely delivery of the kit and the savings.
Your oerator also included a felt washer that normally sells for $12'
Overall it was a good experience and I wi;; most certainly tell others and will be a return customer.

This is excellent. It prevents coffee from going up into the head and also makes a better shot. Highly recommend
Nicely constructed and fits the 58mm baskets well. This seems to help with reducing channeling through the puck.
I was given this screen because I ordered a certain $ value. I am sure it's a good product, but I do not need it. My screen is working just fine at the moment. The other choice was even more useless to me. I believe if my screen eventually gets plugged, I could clean and unplug it.
Why complain about a free item? if you didnt need it, then just don't select one
the puck screen works well, i needed to adjust less grams of coffee to allow thickness of puck, once adjustment were made within the breville automatic tamper the coffee flows more consistently.
this puck screen works great! pucks aren't wet anymore and come out of the filter in one piece all the time dry! worth it
It’s well made, but I feel it added extra thickness to the portafilter and increased pressure upwards. Within two weeks, the shower filter in the head cracked.
Exactly what I needed at the time seeing as I had just accidentally bent mine in half!
Within an hour, staff contacted me after I needed further advice regarding my purchase. I discovered what I had ordered would not work as I hoped. They provided an immediate refund and were supportive throughout the process.
Came as a bonus with my order, wish I added a second one now (I have two portafilters. Much smoother shot, clearee smoother flow through the puck.
For the portafilter in my Breville Oracle touch perfectly. Nice quality, thick screen.
Tried my new Puck Screen in the Oracle Touch today and it seemed to make the Crema alot smoother and probably the best Flat white I’ve had so far.
Hopefully this will continue throughout the different coffees we have in the future.
Also thanks BrevTech for this gift.
Much appreciated.
