The easiest way to service your Breville / Sage Dual Boiler or Oracle before age-related failures start.
If your machine is not showing a specific fault yet, but it has not had a proper service in more than two years, this kit is the right place to start. It covers the wear items and service parts most owners should replace during preventative maintenance.
This is a maintenance kit, not a full fault-specific repair kit. If your machine already has a clear problem, pair this with the relevant repair kit from the store.

What Is Included
- 3 x Steam Boiler Sensor Probes with newer black Viton seals
- 1 x 58 mm Group Head Gasket
- 6 x genuine Breville OEM O-rings for high-temperature steam circuit connections
- 10 x general-use silicone O-rings for service work around the machine
- 1 x spare hose clip
- 1 x tube of food-grade silicone grease
Why The Steam Probes Matter
Replacing old probes is strongly recommended. Trying to re-use or re-seal aged probes is one of the most common reasons Dual Boilers and Oracles fail during or after descaling. If you only change one thing during preventative maintenance, change the probes.
Important Note About the Side Port O-ring
The side port O-ring on the steam boiler should ideally be changed during a full service, but that fitting can be extremely difficult to remove. I have a full guide here: How to Replace the Side Inlet O-ring on the Breville Steam Boiler. Sometimes the hose has to be cut to get it apart, so it is a good idea to have a spare hose ready:
When This Is Not The Right Kit
If your machine already has a defined fault such as:
- steam boiler not filling
- steam boiler not heating
- triac board failure
- buzzing solenoid
- dripping steam valve
then you may need to pair this kit with a fault-specific repair kit rather than relying on maintenance parts alone.

My Oracle Touch BES990 had multiple problems, including internal leaks from the top of the steam boiler (probably started within 3 months from purchase of a new unit). The OEM electrodes themselves had leaks between the electrode conductor and the ceramic collar. The kit fixed all of that, including restoring the correct resistance values when the steam boiler was drained. I was subsequently able to descale the machine (using Breville descaler powder) with no issues.
Steam leaks are now completely fixed.

Fixed the leaking probes
I have managed to service the Steam Boiler of my BES920 with this kit. The sensor probes and O-rings works perfectly fine. My machine is like brand new again, no more hissing sound inside.
