Step-by-Step: Replacing the Boiler Steam Probes
Power Down & Cool
Unplug your machine and allow it to cool fully before starting.
Remove Outer Screws
Remove the two Phillips screws underneath the front panel and the two Torx screws at the back.

Lift the Lid
Carefully lift the top lid to access the steam boiler area.
Disconnect the Sensor Wires
Using pliers, gently pinch the terminal connectors and pull off the wires connected to the three steam probes.

Remove the Old Probes
Pull out the retaining clips and lift out the old sensors.

Replace O-Rings
Remove the old O-rings from each probe housing and clean the ports before fitting new ones.

Install the New Probes
Push the new probes firmly into place (wet them slightly or use a small amount of food-safe lubricant). The short probe goes on the right-hand side, connected to the red wire.

Reassemble the Machine
Reconnect the sensor wires, reattach the clips, and re-fit the lid and screws. Your machine will now correctly detect water levels and be safer during descales.
