How to Replace the Steam Sensor Probes on your Breville/Sage

Tools You'll Need:
- Phillips screwdriver
- T20 Torx driver
- Small pliers
Repair Time: 15 minutes
Step-by-Step:
Step 1: Unplug the machine and let it cool fully.
Step 2: Remove the two phillips screws underneath the front panel.
Step 3 - Remove the two torx screws at the back
Step 4 - Lift the lid
Step 5 - Using pliers, pinch the terminal to disconnect the wires to the three sensors
Step 6 - Pull out the clips to release the old sensors
Step 7 - Remove the old o-rings
Step 7 - Push in the new sensors (use some grease or just wet them first) and reassemble. Note, the short probe goes in the right-hand side to the red wire.
And that's it! Now your machine is much better protected against serious damage when you descale.
