Align the Jug Sensor Pads

Critical: When refitting the board, ensure the three jug sensor pads align perfectly with the contacts or you’ll get jug placement errors.

Tip: Keep the pads centred; don’t overtighten initially — seat, check alignment, then snug down.

Avoid Twists to Prevent ER07 / ER08

Route the new wire without twists or sharp bends. Twisted or pinched wires commonly trigger ER07 or ER08.

Reassemble Carefully

Hold the triangular piece in place while refitting screws, then reinstall the spring and rubber boot, followed by the three covers.

Troubleshooting After Reassembly

  • Still shows ER05: Recheck cable connection and wire continuity; confirm pad alignment.
  • ER07 / ER08: Re-route to remove twists; ensure the wire isn’t pinched; reseat the board connector.
  • Jug not detected: Loosen board screws, re-centre pads, then retighten evenly.
